If any one that might come across this blog either serves/has served in the military or has close family that serves/has served, I want to say a deep thank you. Thank you for allowing God to use you in this way.
"Is this a blog that will make me laugh?" I hope it will sometimes, but probably not all the time. I like a good laugh.
Mainly the title comes from proverbs 31:25 "She is clothed with strength and dignity; she can laugh at the days to come." I have no strength and dignity of my own (I really don't, it is pretty sad). It is only by the Grace of God that He gives me His strength and dignity so I can look to the future with confidence.
I also like the title "Laugh Lines" because as I get older I have more of those "laugh lines" that others may call wrinkles. When I see elderly women with lines and crows feet because of all the years they have lived with joy and a smile on their face, I think "That's cool". I hope I will never succumb to the temptation of botox or plastic surgery to erase what years of living life have established.
